Submission Types

Research Paper Presentation

Academic presentations of completed or ongoing empirical, theoretical, or review-based research. Submissions should include a clear research question or objective, an indication of methodology, and implications for ELT research or practice. Particularly suited to university researchers, teacher educators, and graduate students.

25 min presentation + 5 min Q&A

Practice-Based Presentation

Classroom-based experiences, teaching innovations, curriculum initiatives, materials development projects, or reflective accounts from professional practice. Presentations do not require a formal research design but should be grounded in professional practice and offer clear takeaways for other practitioners.

25 min presentation + 5 min Q&A

Workshop

Interactive, hands-on sessions in which participants actively engage with a topic, technique, or tool. Proposals should describe the session's objectives, planned activities, and any materials or resources required. Ideal for sharing pedagogical strategies, digital tools, or collaborative professional development approaches.

45–60 minutes

Poster Presentation

Open to all students — BA, MA, and PhD. Share your research projects, classroom investigations, or academic work through a poster display. Posters will be exhibited during dedicated viewing sessions, and presenters are expected to be available to discuss their work with attendees. This is a great opportunity to present your work and engage with the wider ELT community. Submissions must include confirmation of current student enrollment status.
